Unwritten

I am a personal unwritten book.
I will open myself
but, only to the people I trust.
people will judge me by my cover
but my cover is not what makes me stand out
it's my pages that matter.
I am open to ideas to write in my book.
The words of others is not what molds up my story.
Only the words that i write matter to me.
Nobody shall predict my future
because the rest is still unwritten
and there is still a lot more to write

KC3 essay final draft

Sustaining the natural beauty of hawaii has its own price. To keep it that way it is, people in the islands need to create less waste and recycle them more often. Recycling has its benefits for the islands environment, Hawaii's economy, and also saves the people energy.
Creating less waste for Hawaii's environment can benefit Hawaii in many ways. aluminum cans that have been recycled can go back on the store shelf's in around 60 days. rather then making new cans out of aluminum, this would be a better alternative. Also, recycling aluminum cans is much quicker then making new ones. Aluminum cans have no limit to the amount of times it can be recycled. this makes it much easier to recycle then to make new ones. this also helps Hawaii's economy which is another reason to recycle.
Recycling has a big positive effects on the economy of Hawaii. consumers get their 5 cents when they return their containers to a redemption center. This is a good way for people to get some pocket money to use. it also is motivates more people into recycling. Recycling offers jobs to people such as materials sorters, dispatchers, truck drivers, brokers, sales representatives, process engineers, chemist, and etc. If there isn't a lot of jobs for Hawaii to offer, then this would be a good way for people to get jobs. Also if more people were to get these jobs it would make recycling faster and that would save Hawaii energy which is another reason to recycle.
People who recycle are saving themselves energy. recycling requires 95% less energy then not recycling. If you were to not recycle then a lot of energy would go to waste. If everyone were to recycle then alot of energy would be saved. Recycling one aluminum can saves enough energy to keep 100-watt bulb burning for nearly four hours. knowing this, if everyone were to recycle then their would be no such thing as wasting energy. This can save people a lot of money from there energy bill
Overall keeping the environment clean, improve Hawaii's economy, saving the people energy is just a few benefits recycling offers Hawaii. if people recycle rather then creating more waste then we will be able to restore hawaii"s natural beauty. Sustaining it is just one thing we have to do in order to keep it the way it is.

Querencia essay (final draft)

After a very long week of school, chores, and work i can finally relax on the sandy beach of Hanauma bay. This is what i have been looking forward to for weeks. Now that I'm here all I need to do is to enjoy myself with my family. As I enter the ramp towards the beach I enjoy the view and look for a free space where nobody is. the beach is packed and we have been pacing around the Beach for a while now. Now that we have a perfect spot in a shady tree all I need to worry about is how the water is.

Today was a good day to go to the beach because the weather was warm enough to make you want to go to the beach. I have always loved the weather of the beaches on the islands of Hawaii. The reason for this is because it is always beach weather all year round. My thoughts on todays weather however was very interesting because for a sunny day, there were not as much people in the beach as I expected.

I took this advantage  grab my snorkeling mask and just dashed towards the water having no care of whats going to stop me. As I raced through the shore, I can feel my feet get burned from the sand. As I arrived at the water, I took a few seconds to breath in that sea breeze. The best thing about swimming is the first dive into the water just because you want to feel the cool refreshing feeling that you haven't felt in a while. Diving onto the water feels as if you have just washed away all of what has been on you mind that has been bugging you lately.

As I raised back up to the surface to put on my mask I can see that the rest of the people are enjoying themselves. I'm not surprised that I'm not the only one that like this place because for a beach, it has a lot to offer. looking through the mask underwater is like looking through another world. You can see colonies of fish swimming right pass you. It reminds me of a small fish neighborhood with a variety of colorful fishes

When I go to this place its as if I could just stay here for a very long time. I will never get used you the sunshine that covers the beach like a blanket and also how the view of the water and the horizon is always so outstanding. Just thinking of leaving makes me want to look forward to coming here again next time. I dont even think of school, chores, and work.

Querencia Brainstorm

Hanauma-Bay-Oahu.jpg

The particular place that acts upon my special place is hanauma bay. As i enter the parking lot, I can already smell the saltiness of the water. stepping on the warm sand makes me feel relaxed and as if i can stand here forever. Running towards the water, i get distracted of a moving figure at the side of my eye. It was a mongoose. as i slowly dip my body my body into the water it was the most refreshing felling ever. It will probably take me forever to get out of the water because the first sight of the underwater world has left me nothing but gazing at its magnificent view. Finally i feel comfortable. Now I can relive me stress by relaxing in the cool water and have a tome of my life.
